Nuts and bolts

My skills are in shaping and molding ideas into high quality entertainment. I'm a strong story teller with experience on both sides of the television business; first as a producer and writer, and later as a network developer and executive producer. I have built my career on solid relationships with colleagues, production companies and agents and take pride in maintaining those relationships.

I have more than 25 years of experience in all aspects of television production, including developing, producing, writing, editing and supervising highly rated, top-tier series, specials and documentaries. I spent years writing and producing Biography episodes, and later had jobs at two news organizations, all of which helped me to understand journalistic principles and ethics.

I've worked on multi-million dollar ad sales integrations, collaborated with press teams at TCA,  represented networks at industry events, pre-negotiated deals for business affairs, handled talent management issues, and have worked with finance and production management on program and operating budgets.

In addition to my work in television, I've been pursuing my hobby as a furniture designer and builder for the last two years.  I'm a member of an artist's cooperative in Brooklyn and have 24 hour access to a wood shop and a metal shop. Samples of my work can be seen by clicking on the "furniture" tab above.
