I learned to write, produce, interview and edit while creating episodes of Biography for Towers Productions in Chicago, and later as part of a small in-house production team at A&E. I made the jump to executive producer at the Biography Channel, supervising nearly 100 episodes, and soon after, returned to A&E where I continued to executive produce the series.

This series allowed me to travel the world, visiting the Greek island owned by the Onassis family and the prison in London where Oscar Wilde was incarcerated. I conducted the second interview ever given by Lee Harvey Oswald's brother, spent an afternoon with Sydney Biddle Barrows "The Mayflower Madam" and had a memorable phone call with Leona Helmsley.
